Uncertainty As FSU Begins Preparing For Music City Bowl

FSU begins practice in preparation for the Music City Bowl today with a great deal of uncertainty. The uncertainty revolves around the continuing investigation regarding academic misconduct involving student-athletes and a former tutor who provided improper help on an online test. There is a continuing NCAA investigation and word is that there will be even more suspensions from the team.

Players who admit wrongdoing will be suspended for multiple games. FSU is still waiting for written confirmation from the NCAA regarding the percentage of missed games it will demand. One report is saying that underclassmen could miss close to four games depending on what the NCAA determines.

Players who admit to wrongdoing will be suspended for games. Those who deny involvement and are later determined by the NCAA to have received improper help could lose their athletic eligibility. Wetherell said FSU could be subject to forfeiting games if a player who is later determined to be involved participated.

All players will supposedly be available for practices held in Tallahassee before the team breaks for the holiday on Dec. 22. But suspended players are not expected to make the trip to Nashville. There have been a number of players mentioned who will supposedly be suspended but FSU It's Time will not publish until further confirmation is forthcoming in regard to the specific players.
