    Three And Out: Kentucky Wildcats

The guys at Wildcats Thunder Blog were kind enough to answer questions for "Three And Out". Thanks to them for taking the time to answer the questions about the Kentucky football team.

    1. So who are the marquee players for the Wildcats other than Andre' Woodson ?

While Woodson garners the most attention UK is very athletic at the skilled positions. Stevie Johnson and Keenan Burton are big play wide receivers. When healthy Rafael Little is one of the better all purpose backs in the SEC. Jacob Tamme creates huge match up problems at tight end. He is too quick for LB's and too big for DB's. The defense is lead by Wesley Woodyard. He is the emotional leader on and off the field. Jermey Jarmon is a force at DE. Trevard Lindley is one of the best cover corners in the SEC.

    2. How do you think Kentucky's offense matches up with FSU's defense?

I will admit not seeing much of the Noles this season and this is very hard to answer based on the lack of knowledge of FSU. Early in the season UK was able to provide a great mix of the run and pass. At one point the average ~220 on the ground and ~250 in the air. Like SEC teams FSU has the speed to keep you from running wide. UK has been able to run between the tackles. FSU MUST get a pass rush with their front four or regardless of speed they will be in for a long day.

    3. What are the keys to the game for the Wildcats to be successful against the Noles?

As with most teams, TURNOVERS. UK had 4 in a loss to South Carolina. They had six in a loss to MSU. UK has also struggled with special teams. Our kick-off coverage has been less than good. A blocked FG in the 2nd OT cost us the Tennessee game.
