Ok, so what is today besides it being Wednesday? Glad you asked. It was a year ago today that Jeff Bowden announced that he was stepping down as offensive coordinator after the Noles had been beaten by Wake Forest at home 30-0. This was the same Jeff Bowden that Bobby Bowden said was one of the best offensive coordinators in the country.For his horrible job performance, Jeff Bowden was handsomely rewarded by FSU and the Boosters with a $537,500 severance package.
It is comical that some newspapers are saying that Bowden who still lives in Tallahassee has decided to wait before getting back into coaching. Translation- who would hire this guy? Fans on Saturday can fondly remember Jeffie when they order a Coke at the game since the severance package supposedly is being paid from concession sales of Coke. Is this a great country or what?
